The Tyberius Worden Sportsmanship Award and the JYBSA

The 2024 Tyberius Worden Sportsmanship Award:

Once again, this year's award is a Louisville Slugger MLB Prime baseball bat. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the JYBSA board members, the coaches, and anyone else involved in helping us honor Ty by supporting our efforts to recognize players who demonstrate outstanding sportsmanship.

To the Coaches:

Each year, we receive nominations for players who demonstrate exceptional character, sportsmanship, and respect for the game. Given the difficulty of choosing just one winner from such an outstanding group, we have decided to randomly draw the winner from the pool of nominated players. Therefore, submitting a written statement with your nomination is no longer required, though coaches are still welcome to include one if they wish.
